Biography

Donald Benjamin Sanders is a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Neurology at Duke University, specializing in neuromuscular diseases. He has contributed significantly to the field through both clinical practice and research, focusing particularly on myasthenia gravis and related disorders. His education includes an M.D. from Harvard University, obtained in 1964. Throughout his career, Dr. Sanders has been involved in numerous clinical trials aimed at improving the understanding and treatment of neuromuscular diseases. His research interests primarily include therapy for immunologic neuromuscular diseases, with notable focus on therapies that utilize facilitating agents.
