Biography

Prof. Dong Hee Son received his Bachelor and Master of Science degrees from Seoul National University in Korea. He obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin. After completing his postdoctoral work at the University of California, Berkeley, he joined the faculty of Texas A&M University in 2005. He is currently a Professor of Chemistry and has a joint appointment in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Texas A&M University. His research interest focuses on semiconductor nanostructures and their applications in photonics, quantum information science, and photocatalytic conversion in molecular systems.
