Dr. Dongmei Zhao

Biography

Dongmei Zhao is a professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at McMaster University, where she has been a faculty member since receiving her PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo in June 2002. Her research focuses on radio resource management, quality-of-service provisioning, and wireless networks. Current projects include mobile computation offloading and energy-efficient wireless communication systems. Dongmei is actively involved in exploring innovative approaches to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of wireless networks, helping to address the challenges associated with growing mobile data usage and energy consumption in modern communication systems. Her works contribute significantly to the advancements in wireless technology, ensuring robust and reliable connectivity for various applications.
