Biography

Donna G Blankenbaker is a Professor at the University of Wisconsin–Madison School of Medicine and Public Health in the Department of Radiology, having joined the faculty in 2001. She completed her residency in 2000 and a musculoskeletal radiology fellowship in 2001. Dr. Blankenbaker has a distinguished career, having received several awards including the Outstanding Medical Student Teaching Award in 2007 and participation in prestigious programs such as the AUR-Philips Academic Faculty Development Program and the RSNA International Visiting Professor Program. She is actively involved in medical education as the co-director for medical student radiology education and serves on multiple committees within the radiology department and at the national level. Her research interests focus on hip imaging and sports medicine injuries, and she has authored 55 research articles, three book chapters, and delivered numerous presentations at national and international conferences. Additionally, she serves as a section editor for the American Journal of Roentgenology and is involved in peer review for several scientific journals.
