Biography

Doriane Zerka is an Associate Professor specializing in Medieval German Literature at the University of Cambridge, where she focuses on the intersection of German-speaking and Iberian worlds through a comparative and transcultural lens. In 2023, she published her monograph titled 'Imagining Iberia in Medieval German Literature' with the Legenda Transcript series. Her teaching and research interests encompass Medieval German Literature, Medieval Iberian Literature, Comparative Literature, and Critical Theory, particularly in relation to gender representations in medieval texts and the mobility and connectivity of literature in medieval Europe.
