Biography

Dorothy E. Roberts is the George Weiss University Professor of Law and Sociology at the University of Pennsylvania, where she holds the inaugural Raymond Pace Sadie Tanner Mossell Alexander Professorship in Civil Rights. She is the founding director of the Penn Program on Race, Science & Society. Her groundbreaking work in law and public policy focuses on urgent social justice issues, including reproductive justice, policing, family regulation, and bioethics.
