Biography

Dorthe Arenholt Bindslev is a Professor Emeritus at Aarhus University, with over 40 years of expertise in forensic odontology. She specializes in forensic identification of deceased individuals with unknown or uncertain identity and has served as a forensic odontology expert for the Danish Police's national identification task force since 2009. Her research interests include forensic odontology, orthodontics, toxicology, and oral pathology, particularly in areas such as experimental carcinogenesis and interceptive orthodontics. Bindslev has also contributed to various advisory boards and councils related to health justice and experimental animal inspection in Denmark.
