Biography

D. Kyle Hogarth, MD, FCCP, is a Professor of Medicine in the Section of Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine at the University of Chicago. He serves as the Director of Bronchoscopy and is heavily involved in advanced bronchoscopy and interventional pulmonary care. Dr. Hogarth has published extensively in leading journals such as the New England Journal of Medicine, Chest, and ERJ. He is a founding member and past President of the Society for Advanced Bronchoscopy and serves on the editorial board of CHEST. His academic and clinical work focuses on alpha 1 Antitrypsin Deficiency, bronchial thermoplasty, and various advanced bronchoscopic techniques. Dr. Hogarth completed his medical degree at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, followed by residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Pulmonary Critical Care at the University of Chicago.
