Biography

D. Kyle Hogarth, MD, FCCP is a Professor of Medicine in the Section of Pulmonary Critical Care at the University of Chicago. He is the Director of Bronchoscopy and is heavily involved in the field of advanced bronchoscopy and interventional pulmonary medicine. Dr. Hogarth has numerous publications to his credit and is known for his contributions to various prestigious journals, including the New England Journal of Medicine and Chest. He also serves on the editorial board of the journal CHEST as a section editor for the podcast section. Throughout his career, he has received numerous clinical and teaching awards from the University. He is a founding member and past President of the Society of Advanced Bronchoscopy. Dr. Hogarth earned his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Pulmonary Critical Care at the University of Chicago.
