Biography

Douglas Howe received his Ph.D. from Cornell University in 1988. He served as a research associate and faculty member in the Department of Computer Science at Cornell from 1987 to 1992. Between 1992 and 1999, he was a Member of Technical Staff at Bell Labs in Murray Hill, New Jersey. In January 2000, he joined the School of Computer Science at Carleton University, where he has held roles including Associate Director and Director of the School of Computer Science.
