Douglas Manuel is a Distinguished Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and the School of Epidemiology and Public Health at the University of Ottawa. With a strong emphasis on prevention, immunization, and healthy living, he has dedicated over 25 years to primary care for rural and underserved Canadian communities, recently practicing at the Ottawa Newcomer Health Centre.
