Biography

Named Distinguished University Professor in 2011, Douglas Moggach held the University Research Chair in Political Thought at the Faculty of Social Sciences from 2007 to 2012, while being cross-appointed to the Department of Philosophy in the Faculty of Arts since 1995. His work, published in nine languages, has achieved international recognition in the fields of political theory, philosophy, and intellectual history, significantly enriching the understanding of modern German philosophy.
