Doug Morck received a BSc in Cellular and Microbial Biology from the University of Calgary in 1983, a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 1987, and a PhD from the University of Calgary in 1991. He completed a post-doctoral fellowship in immunology research at the Alberta Heritage Foundation Medical Research. Morck has been an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Calgary since 1992 and became a tenured Associate Professor in 2001, followed by promotion to Full Professor in the Faculty of Science in 2005 and the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in 2006.
