Douglas Rothman is the director of the Magnetic Resonance Research Center (MRRC) at Yale School of Medicine, which currently supports NIH-funded work of more than 70 Principal Investigators and 13 program project grants. He has an international reputation as a leader in the development of novel magnetic resonance methods to study brain, liver, and muscle metabolism and function.
