Dr. Drew Marquardt

Biography

Drew Marquardt is a Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Windsor. He holds a Ph.D. from Brock University and is recognized for his expertise in biophysics, particularly in the study of biomaterials. His research focuses on the structure-function relationships of cellular membranes and the investigation of biomembranes and small membrane-bound molecules. Marquardt's work employs advanced techniques such as neutron and X-ray scattering to explore significant biophysical problems associated with model systems. He is dedicated to developing new experimental strategies and platforms that enhance the understanding of biological systems, particularly by reducing perturbation from analytical techniques.
