Dries Raeymaekers teaches Early Modern History at Radboud University. He was awarded the Encouragement Prize for Young Scholars by the University of Antwerp. In 2015, he received the University Teaching Award from Radboud University. He also held a Fulbright Fellowship at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore in early 2010. As a Visiting Scholar at the Institute of Historical Research (University of London) in Spring 2019, he conducted research related to his academic interests. In 2022, he was a guest researcher at the Centre Roland Mousnier (Paris-Sorbonne) and the Centre de Recherche du Château de Versailles. In 2025, he is set to be elected as a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society.
