Biography

Duke Han, PhD, is a tenured Professor of Psychology, Family Medicine, Neurology, and Gerontology at the University of Southern California. He is board-certified in Clinical Neuropsychology and has received fellowships from various prestigious organizations, including the American Psychological Association. His academic journey includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a focus on Neuroscience from Duke University, followed by a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Boston. Han's research primarily focuses on cognitive functions such as decision-making in aging populations, leveraging empirical approaches to enhance understanding of these factors. He leads an extramurally-funded research lab and holds several key leadership roles, including Co-Director of the Scientific Research Network in Decision Neuroscience and Aging. His work has significant recognition, being involved in the publication of important studies, and he has been featured in multiple major media outlets.
