Biography

Professor Isakov studied economics at the University of Lausanne, where he obtained his doctorate and completed his scientific training with postdoctoral studies at CIRANO in Montreal. He was then an assistant professor at the University of Geneva (HEC section) before being appointed a full professor at the University of Fribourg in 2004. He has also taught finance at the Universities of Lausanne, Neuchâtel, Rennes, and at the Swiss Finance Institute. In addition to his teaching at the University of Fribourg, he occasionally participates in different continuing education programs. He is also responsible for the corporate finance module at Unidistance.
