Biography

Dustin Scheinost, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in Radiology & Biomedical Imaging at Yale School of Medicine, with joint appointments in Biomedical Engineering, Statistics & Data Science, and the Yale Child Study Center. He leads the Multi-modal Imaging, Neuroinformatics, & Data Science (MINDS) Lab, which focuses on advancing multi-modal imaging techniques and developing novel statistical machine learning methods for analyzing functional connectivity in neuroscience. His research investigates early life neuroimaging, particularly the development of the brain's functional organization in fetuses, neonates, and infants. He is a founding member of the Fetal, Infant, Toddler Neuroimaging Group (FIT’NG) and has received support from NIMH, NIAA, NIDA, and NHLBI. Scheinost contributes to the development of the BioImage Suite Web (BISWeb), a state-of-the-art integrated image analysis web application designed to facilitate neuroimaging research. He has a strong publication record and frequently collaborates with co-authors in the field, contributing to a wide array of research outputs.
