Biography

Duygu Keskin is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Innovation Sciences at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). Her research lies at the intersection of design, entrepreneurship, and sustainability, focusing on the dynamics of product innovation in sustainability-oriented new ventures. Duygu specifically studies how decision-making logics during the product and business development process influence key factors that explain value creation strategies in sustainability-oriented new ventures over time. She obtained her PhD from the Faculty of Industrial Engineering at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) and holds a Master’s in Industrial Design and a Bachelor’s in Environmental Engineering from Middle East Technical University. Duygu's academic interests also extend to design entrepreneurship education, focusing on the role of serious gaming in teaching alternative decision-making theories, design approaches, and fostering design entrepreneurship among students.
