Dr. Dylan Minor

Biography

Dylan Minor’s professional experience began in the field of investment management with companies including Morgan Stanley and Wells Fargo. He later opened his own wealth management firm, Omega Financial Group, which has managed approximately $250 million in capital. Minor continues to help clients with a variety of life-planning issues, such as retirement planning and business sales. He founded and manages a hedge fund, the Argos Total Return Fund, and serves as an expert consultant to various companies. With a growing interest in investment research and analysis, Minor earned his Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, and was subsequently appointed to teaching and research positions at Harvard Business School and the Kellogg School of Management. His academic work has focused on the field of strategic human capital, with a primary interest in the intersection of social responsibility, strategic human resource management, business ethics, and financial performance. His research has been featured in a variety of media outlets, including the Wall Street Journal, Harvard Business Review, and NPR. As a first-generation college graduate, Minor enjoys playing tennis.
