Biography

E. Donald Elliott is a distinguished professor at Yale Law School, specializing in administrative and environmental law. He has been a faculty member since 1981 and teaches various courses, including Advanced Environmental Law, Energy Law, and Administrative Law. Elliott served as the Assistant Administrator and General Counsel at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency during the 1980s and has held prominent positions in major law firms, including co-chair of the Environmental Practice Group at Covington & Burling LLP. A prolific author, he has published over 80 articles in professional journals and several books, including 'Advanced Introduction to U.S. Environmental Law'. Elliott has provided expert testimony on environmental issues before Congress and has been an active member of the National Academy of Sciences Board on Environmental Studies and Toxicology.
