Biography

Ea Høg Utoft is an Assistant Professor at Radboud University, specializing in Gender and Diversity within Social Cultural Research. She completed her PhD in Gender Higher Education Studies at the Danish Centre for Studies in Research Policy, Aarhus University. Ea has also served as a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at Northeastern University, Boston, USA. Her main research interests revolve around diversity, inequalities, and change interventions in universities, particularly through the lens of gender power dynamics and knowledge production. She employs qualitative-interpretivist methods rooted in feminist epistemological traditions. Currently, her studies focus on themes such as singlehood among international mobility scholars and the implications of 'social safety' policies in Dutch universities. Ea is actively involved in the Radboud Social Science Faculty's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee and serves on the editorial board of the Dutch journal 'Tijdschrift voor Genderstudies'. She teaches various topics related to diversity and organizations and has received several awards for her contributions to gender studies.
