Biography

Dr. Earth Hasassri is an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University School of Medicine, specializing in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He teaches medical students, residents, and fellows, focusing on complex psychiatric conditions in both children and adults, including ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, functional neurological disorders, epilepsy, and other neuropsychiatric conditions. He earned dual bachelor's degrees in Neurophysiology and Psychology from the University of California, San Diego, where he also conducted research in sleep medicine. Dr. Hasassri completed his medical degree at the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine, during which he focused on clinical epidemiology research. He furthered his training with a residency in general psychiatry at the University of California, San Francisco, including work at the Langley Porter Psychiatric Hospitals & Clinics, where he received the Area Distinction in Clinical Neuroscience for his application of neuroscientific principles to clinical work in brain cancer, dementia, and neurodevelopmental disorders. Dr. Hasassri is dual board certified in Adult Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is a member of the Board of the American Board of Medical Specialties.
