Biography

Ed Simon is a Lecturer in Public Humanities in the English Department at Carnegie Mellon University and serves as the Editor-in-Chief of Belt Magazine, contributing to the Pittsburgh Review of Books and other literary outlets. He is recognized as an influential voice in contemporary literary culture, being described as an 'indispensable literary site' by Millions, a New York literary magazine. Simon has authored numerous works, including 'Alternative History Pittsburgh' and 'Pandemonium: Visual History Demonology'. His essays have been featured in prestigious publications such as The Atlantic, The Paris Review Daily, The Washington Post, and Newsweek.
