Biography

Professor Edison Tse received a BS, MS, and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is the Director of the Asia Center of Management Science and Engineering, focusing on developing executive training programs for Asian enterprises. His research primarily revolves around system control engineering, economic dynamics control, and computer integrated systems to support decision-making in fisheries management and manufacturing enterprises. He has made significant contributions in the analysis of dynamic competitive strategies and has published over 180 papers. From 2004 to 2015, he co-directed Stanford-China programs on regional industry transformation, engaging with city officials and executives in China. Additionally, he co-directed the Stanford Financial Engineering Certificate Program in Hong Kong, aimed at enhancing management in financial institutions. Tse co-founded Advanced Decision Systems, a technology firm specializing in AI tools, which was acquired by Booz Allen Hamilton in 1991. He has served on various boards, including Verity and KBC Fund Management Co., Ltd.
