Biography

Edmund Schuster is an Associate Professor in Law at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). His research focuses on corporate law, finance, takeover regulation, and economic analysis of law. He has prepared studies for the European Commission regarding corporate governance reform and private international law. In 2014, he was awarded the Modern Law Review Wedderburn Prize for his article on the economic analysis of the mandatory bid rule. Schuster holds degrees in law from the University of Vienna and LSE. In addition to his academic pursuits, he advises the M&A team at Baker & McKenzie in Austria.
