Biography

Eduard Gordon Reinhardt is a full professor in the School of Earth, Environment and Society at McMaster University, where he has been employed since 1998. His academic career began as an assistant professor at the School of Earth Sciences, McMaster University from 1998 to 2003, followed by a promotion to associate professor in the School of Geography and Earth Sciences from 2003 to 2010. Reinhardt completed his PhD in Micropaleontology at Carleton University between 1993 and 1996 and earned his BA with Honours in Directed Interdisciplinary Studies focused on Marine Geoarchaeology at Carleton from 1989 to 1993. He underwent postgraduate training as an NSERC/Killam Postdoctoral Fellow in Micropaleoontology at Dalhousie University within the Earth Sciences department from 1996 to 1998.
