Biography

Ed Hardy is an Assistant Professor in the Nonfiction Writing Program at Brown University, having started his teaching career in 2001. He is an award-winning newspaper reporter, editor, and freelance writer. His works have been published in the Boston Sunday Globe and several national magazines. Hardy is the author of novels including 'Keeper Kid' published by Thomas Dunne Books/St. Martin's Press and 'Geyser Life' from Bridge Works. He has served as fiction editor for Epoch and his short fiction has appeared in prominent magazines such as Ploughshares, GQ, New England Review, Boulevard, Quarterly, Ascent, Prairie Schooner, New Letters, and Witness, with listings in American Short Stories. He has received Fiction Fellowships from the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts in 2005, 2006, and 2008. Hardy has also taught creative writing and creative nonfiction at Cornell University and Boston College.
