Biography

I joined Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2007. Before that, I spent nine years as Research Director for the Medical Imaging Department at the University of Saskatchewan. My research interests are diverse, focusing primarily on the appropriate use of radiation in diagnostic imaging. I have a continuing interest in non-invasive technology used in the characterization of malignant pathology and exploring environmental stress in plants through their homeostasis. I have also played a significant role in the business of science as the President of Bonaventure Analytical Services and the founding Managing Director of MRV Systems Inc., focusing on MRI technology development.
