Biography

Professor Edward Tobias is an educator and researcher in medical genetics and genomics, currently serving as a consultant clinical geneticist in NHS. He is active in various international genomics committees and holds numerous qualifications including BSc, MBChB, MRCP, and a PhD in Molecular Biology. Prof. Tobias has received the 2021 Education Award from the European Society of Human Genetics and has chaired the sub-committee of the global Human Genome Organisation's Education Committee. His research focuses on developmental genes, whole-genome DNA sequencing, and the genetic basis of disorders related to development.
