Biography

Edwin Koh is a Provost’s Chair Teaching Professor and Associate Head of the Design Artificial Intelligence program at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD). He has been involved in several committees including the New Programs Committee of the United States National Academy of Engineering and is the founding chair of the Grand Challenges Scholars Program. Edwin has held visiting positions at the National University of Singapore and New York University. His research focuses on design engineering products, and his work has been published in notable journals such as Research Engineering Design, Journal Engineering Design, and Design Studies. He obtained his B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering and S.M. in Manufacturing from Nanyang Technological University and completed his Ph.D. in Engineering Design at the University of Cambridge.
