Biography

Edwin Koh is a Provost’s Chair Teaching Professor and Associate Head of the Design Artificial Intelligence program at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD). His research centers on design engineering, particularly in the creation and analysis of design products, and he has published extensively in top journals such as Research Engineering Design and Design Studies. Edwin has served on the New Programs Committee for the United States National Academy of Engineering's Grand Challenges Scholars Program and has held significant positions in various academic institutions including the National University of Singapore and New York University. He earned his Ph.D. in Engineering Design from the University of Cambridge and has participated in postgraduate studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His academic contributions include numerous publications in the areas of design change prediction and resilience in infrastructure systems.
