Biography

Ee Von currently serves as an Associate Professor at Monash University Malaysia and heads the Common Engineering section of the School of Engineering. Her research primarily focuses on flotation technology with applications in contaminated soil remediation and the extraction of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) using flotation processes. Her expertise lies in studying bubble-bubble and bubble-particle interactions using techniques such as Atomic Force Microscopy and zetasizer. Ee Von has received external funding from the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) and has published 32 articles in ISI-indexed journals. Notably, she received the Australia-APEC Women Research Fellowship in 2019. Her commitment to education is reflected in her teaching accolades, including the PVC’s Award for Excellence in Teaching and Faculty of Engineering Citation for Outstanding Contribution to Student Learning. She also serves as an honorary secretary for the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) in Malaysia and is involved in initiatives related to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
