Biography

Egon Dejonckheere is a part-time Assistant Professor in the Department of Medical and Clinical Psychology at Tilburg University. He received his PhD in 2019 from KU Leuven in Belgium and is currently a post-doctoral researcher funded by the Flemish Fund for Scientific Research (FWO). His research primarily focuses on understanding how emotions fluctuate in everyday life and the patterns indicative of mental well-being in individuals. He has been involved in the development of m-Path, a blended care platform that integrates daily life research with clinical practice. In 2020, he received the Early Career Researcher Award from the Society for Ambulatory Assessment. In his limited free time, he works as a clinical psychologist where he treats patients with depression and anxiety complaints.
