Biography

Eicher Low is an Associate Professor at the Singapore Institute of Technology, specializing in Aerospace Engineering. He obtained his PhD in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Minnesota, USA. His academic career at SIT began in 2012, where he has served in various leadership roles, including Programme Leader for both the Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Aerospace Engineering and the Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Aircraft Systems Engineering. He is currently the Programme Director for the BEng (Hons) Aircraft Systems Engineering. Over the years, Dr. Low has contributed significantly to the field of aerospace engineering through his involvement in various professional organizations, including being a Senior Member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) and a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). His research interests include modeling and control of underwater robotic vehicles and unmanned aerial vehicles. He has served on technical committees for international conferences and has been an active judge for the Tan Kah Kee Young Inventors' Award. His past research projects include leading a significant grant project focused on autonomous formation flying for multiple UAVs.
