Eike Cramer is a lecturer in Process Systems Engineering at University College London. His research interests focus on decision-making uncertainty, combining sources of knowledge and data, and accelerated design discovery. His work integrates machine learning with uncertainty quantification to improve decision-making in energy systems and (bio)chemical processes. Before joining UCL, Dr. Cramer graduated with a Bachelor's in Energy Process Engineering in 2017 and a Master's in 2019 from the Technical University of Berlin. He was a visiting research scholar at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh in 2019. From 2019 to 2022, he worked at the Institute of Energy Systems Engineering at Forschungszentrum Jülich (Helmholtz Research Centre) within the Helmholtz School of Data Science in Life, Earth, and Energy. He obtained his Ph.D. from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at RWTH Aachen University in 2022. From February 2023 to July 2025, he is expected to join as a group leader at RWTH Aachen University, focusing on Process Systems Engineering.
