Biography

Eileen Stewart, M.D., is a board-certified pediatric fetal cardiologist and serves as the medical director of the IMPACT Single Ventricle Program at the Texas Center for Pediatric Congenital Heart Disease, a clinical partnership with Dell Children’s Medical Center and UT Health Austin. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of congenital and acquired heart conditions in infants, children, and adolescents, as well as those in pregnancy. Dr. Stewart earned her bachelor's degree in zoology from the University of Miami and her medical degree from The University of Texas Medical School at Houston. She completed her residency in pediatrics at the University of New Mexico and her fellowship in pediatric cardiology at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Her research interests focus on improving outcomes for single ventricle patients and addressing feeding and nutrition issues in cardiac infants.
