Biography

Eky joined the James Watt School of Engineering as a Lecturer in Computational Mechanics. He obtained his Bachelor's and Master's degrees (Cum Laude) from the Bandung Institute of Technology, Indonesia. He completed his PhD at the University of Cambridge in 2020 and worked as a research associate at the Alan Turing Institute. In 2022, he served as a visiting research fellow at the University of Cambridge, collaborating with the Bandung Institute of Technology. His research experience includes developing physics-informed digital twins for infrastructures, incorporating numerical analysis and structural health monitoring data. He has worked on innovative numerical methods that enable robust mesh-free analysis of structures with complex geometries.
