Biography

Dr. Elaheh Rahbar is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Texas A&M University. She holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Texas A&M University and a B.S. in Materials Science Engineering from Michigan State University. With over a decade of experience in the field, Dr. Rahbar focuses on traumatic injuries, hemorrhagic shock, blood biomarkers, and resuscitation. Her lab, known as the "ER" lab, aims to engineer personalized solutions for trauma. Dr. Rahbar has received multiple grants, including NIH/NHLBI funding, and has published extensively in her area of expertise. Additionally, she was honored with the Research Excellence Award and the Early Stage Investigator Award at Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
