Biography

Eleanor Ganz MD joined the faculty at the University of Washington Department of Emergency Medicine after completing her emergency medicine residency at the University of Washington in Seattle. She practices emergency medicine at the Northwest Hospital Emergency Department and is passionate about providing patient-centered care. Dr. Ganz has clinical interests in quality assurance and improvement, and she actively serves on case review committees at Harborview Medical Center and the University of Washington-Montlake Medical Center. Additionally, she is interested in the intersection of climate and health and is particularly focused on how the changing environment affects the patients she sees daily in the emergency room. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Ganz enjoys hiking and camping in the mountains, paddleboarding, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
