Biography

Elena Cáceres is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics at the University of Texas. She previously served as a Professor at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Colima, Mexico. Originally from Peru, she is an active member of Siembra-HoLAGrav, a Latin American network focused on holography and gravity. Cáceres' research primarily investigates the gravitational aspects of string theory, particularly the AdS/CFT duality and its implications for understanding entanglement entropy within the context of holography. Her work is pivotal in linking quantum information theories with gravitational phenomena, contributing to advancements in theoretical physics.
