Biography

Elena Coda is a Professor of Italian Literature at Purdue University, where she specializes in Italian Comparative Literature. She completed her Ph.D. at the University of California, Los Angeles in 1998. Currently, she serves as the Interim Head and Associate Head of the School of Languages and Cultures. In 2022, she was awarded the John Florio Prize for an exceptional translation of her work on Scipio Slataper.
