Biography

Eleni Drinea is a Senior Lecturer at Columbia University's Data Science Institute, with her primary appointment in the Department of Computer Science and a joint appointment in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research. She holds MSc and PhD degrees in Computer Science from Harvard University. Drinea has a rich academic background, having served as a research associate at the School of Computer and Communication Sciences at EPFL, Switzerland. She has been instrumental in developing the Master of Data Science program at Columbia, serving as its director for more than seven years.
