Elicia Maine is the Associate Vice President for Knowledge Mobilization & Innovation and the W.J. VanDusen Professor of Innovation & Entrepreneurship at Simon Fraser University. In her role, she champions multiple initiatives aimed at harnessing the impact of university inventions to address significant societal challenges, such as climate change and disease prevention. Dr. Maine earned her PhD in Technology Management & Materials Engineering from the University of Cambridge and holds Master’s degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, alongside a BA from Queen's University.
