Dr. Elin Lehnbom

Biography

Elin Lehnbom combines extensive experience as a researcher and academic pharmacist with a strong background in clinical pharmacy, medication safety, and health systems research. She holds a PhD in Pharmacy from the University of Sydney, Australia, where her thesis focused on the quality use of medicines in chronic illness management and the role of pharmacists in e-Health. Additionally, she has master's degrees in Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Science from Uppsala University, Sweden, and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Linköping University, Sweden. Elin has held academic positions globally, including postdoctoral research at the Australian Institute of Health Innovation in Sydney and faculty roles at the University of Sydney and UiT The Arctic University of Norway. She has been a visiting researcher at Curtin University in Perth, Linnaeus University in Kalmar, and the University of Wisconsin–Madison, and continues to collaborate as a consultant with the Sonderegger Research Center to improve medication outcomes. Her research focuses on medication safety, interprofessional collaboration, and the implementation of pharmacist-led interventions in healthcare settings, contributing significantly to the fields of medication adherence and the integration of pharmacists into healthcare teams.
