Eline Weenink is currently a research assistant in the Behavioural Ecology Group at Wageningen University, with a focus on the interactions between animals and their environments. Eline's keen interest in animal behavior led her to pursue another Master’s degree in Animal Sciences with a specialization in Animal Ecology. During her studies, she completed a research internship at the Netherlands Institute of Ecology (NIOO-KNAW), where she examined how brood size manipulations affect immune indices in adult pied flycatchers. Her thesis investigated the provisioning behavior of African bird species in response to perceived predation threats in the Mbuluzi Game Reserve, Eswatini. In 2023, she joined the Behavioural Ecology group as a research assistant, where she supports various research projects.
