Dr. Elisabeth Cuoco

Biography

Elisabeth Samels Cuoco is an Assistant Professor in the Physician Associate Program at Yale School of Medicine. She has a focused experience in developing and assessing clinical curriculum, maintaining accreditation standards, and lecturing on transitional skills, pediatric topics, ultrasound, simulation, and procedural competencies. As part of her role, she provides academic advisement to students and has clinical experience in the Pediatric Emergency Department at Yale New Haven Hospital. Elisabeth has contributed significantly to professional organizations, including the Physician Assistant Foundation and has held leadership positions, such as President of the Connecticut Academy of Physician Assistants. Additionally, she is an active member of various committees within the Yale Physician Associate Program, where she focuses on curriculum policy and assessment.
