Trained as a social worker, my research focuses on youth in 'difficulty', homelessness, and social assistance. I am particularly interested in the collective memory of the struggle against poverty in Quebec, the 'housing first' approach and its implementation challenges, as well as the civic participation of youth characterized as being in difficulty. I am familiar with qualitative and participatory research methodologies. Additionally, I have been involved in various research projects addressing issues such as collective actions by community organizations, residential stability approaches in combating homelessness, and equity in communities. My role as a lead researcher and co-researcher in various studies reflects my commitment to producing actionable knowledge in social services and humanities fields.
