Dr. Elisabeth Ohlsson

Biography

Elisabeth Ohlsson is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Gothenburg specializing in Subject Matter Education with a focus on Swedish Education. Ohlsson has contributed to various academic studies and presentations centered on writing in a digitalized world, academic writing interventions, and the experiences of student teachers related to academic writing in professional training. Her recent works include investigations into vocabulary visibility and writing practices of upper secondary school students as well as academic writing's relationship to lifelong learning. Ohlsson has presented at multiple conferences, such as the Writing Research Borders 2023 in Norway and has ongoing involvement with research related to content language integrated learning. Her research interests encapsulate the intersection of language, writing development, and educational methodologies.
